Stephen J. Derezinski, Ph.D.(M.E.),
President and Chief Technical OfficerI received my Ph.D. in mechanical engineering in 1972 from the University of Michigan, where I did my research in computer simulation of fluid mechanics. I then spent 30 years in process research and development with Eastman Kodak Company, where I specialized in single screw extrusion and sheet film manufacture.
I have authored numerous papers on plastic processing and extrusion with The Society of Plastic Engineers, and I have a number of patents in extrusion and film manufacturing.
I was also the Technical Program Chair for the Extrusion Division at the Society Plastic Engineers ANTEC 2003.
I specialize in "in-plant" training in conjunction with EMMOUNT Technologies. We offer a 3-day course that gives the extrusion engineer a clear understanding of plastic extrusion based on fundamental engineering principles. Click here for a brochure with details.
